Does the rain

Really cause pain?

Should we look at it

With disdain?

For the rain

Gives life

And nothing

Can hurt it

Not even a knife.

Without rain

We’d be dead

Instead of living

Happy lives

Filled with rain

Does it really 

Cause us pain?
